Rosehearty
Aberdeenshire

A nine-hole links on Aberdeenshire's north coast at Rosehearty, looking out over the North Sea. Established in 1883.
Rosehearty Golf Club was first instituted in 1883, with Col. Fordyce of Brucklay a driving force; the original nine holes were laid out in the dunes below Pitsligo Castle, still visible today. The club lapsed during the First World War, reopened in 1938, fell into disuse at the start of the Second World War and was re-established by local volunteers in 1971.
