Set amongst the ruins of Turnberry Castle, the said birthplace of King Robert the Bruce, this spectacular links course provides an unforgettable journey through Scotland’s most picturesque landscape. Masterfully designed by Martin Ebert, this par 72 course features 7,203 yards of wind-swept, gorse-lined fairways and subtly contoured greens that challenge and delight players of all abilities. Recently recognised in Golf Digest's Top 100 Courses Worldwide 2024, the King Robert the Bruce course beautifully interweaves Scotland's storied past with world-class links golf, creating an experience worthy of its royal namesake.
Formerly Turnberry's Arran course, it was redesigned by Martin Ebert as a 'sibling' to the Ailsa and renamed after Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, who was born at Turnberry Castle in July 1274. The new course was opened by Eric Trump on 28 June 2017.

The 9th 'Kintyre's Cove', to an elevated green with views to the Mull of Kintyre; the par-3 16th 'Paddy's Milestane' with its undulating green; and the par-5 18th 'Bruce's Hame'. Holes 8–11 look out to the Turnberry Lighthouse and castle ruins.
